Join our Fairmont family today!What is in it for you:Subsidized staff accommodation provided on-site for full-time statusAccess to our Lifestyle Program ActivitesOne duty meal in our newly renovated staff cafeteriaEmployee Travel ProgramComprehensive Wellness Platform (Lifeworks)Discounts on food & beverage, fitness centre, spa, golfOpportunity to develop your talent and grow within Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and over 5,000 properties with AccorWhat you will be doing:Reporting to the Reservations Manager, responsibilities include but are not limited to:Reply and confirm Group & Wholesaler requests within 24 hoursBuilding and Maintaining group & tour masters in Property ManagerInputting weekly block space from wholesalers into Property Manager (Tour and FIT’s)Checking weekly configurable reports to ensure accurate group blocksInput monthly Tour Performance for wholesale companies sending sales reportsUpdate and send weekly Group & Tour reports for GroupMax & Tour meetingsMaintaining a professional working relationship with internal and external partnersBuilding of tour & group rates and blocks in Property Manager based on season (summer / winter)Building contracted rates and meal plansEnter Group & Tour Rooming lists, as requiredChampion Passkey (accuracy, set-up, customization)Attend hotel functions as necessary - FAM’s, SITE’s, Resume Meeting, PreconReview contracts to ensure blocks are accurateEnsure promotions are valid, confirmed and built at time of bookingFollow up with Sales to ensure all contractual and promotional offers are accuratePerform reservation duties, as necessaryEnsure a clean and safe working environment, and actively participate in health and safety initiativesAdhere to all hotel environmental policies and initiativesCarry out any other tasks as assignedYour experience and skills include:Self-motivated and able to make decisionsAble to work well under pressure and take initiativeMust be well organized and have excellent written and oral communication skillsKnowledge of Property Manager, CRS, Word and Excel computer systems requiredPrevious exposure to GroupMax (Passkey) administration an assetPrevious exposure to Tour and/or Crew Operations an assetStrong team player with excellent leadership skillsMust be able to work as business levels dictatePhysically fit to lift trays repeatedly, stand and walk for the duration of the shift.Ability to consistently stand and walk through out shiftYou may be required to work on holidays, weekends, overnights and other non-day shifts.
