The Human Resources and Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources team, whilst maintaining positive working relationships with employees and resort management. The Human Resources and Recruitment Coordinator will be required to conduct full cycle, entry level recruitment using an online recruitment system (ADP), perform clerical duties, and maintain accurate employee records. The Lake Louise Ski Resort is a year-round operation; therefore, the appropriate candidate would be interested in long term employment with growth and training opportunities available. The person in this position is also responsible for ensuring that employees and potential employees have the best possible experience while working for The Lake Louise Ski Resort.Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources team
  • Assist in the planning, development and overall organization of staff events and activities
  • Assist with the facilitation of training programs
  • Complete purchase orders and expense reports as required
  • Perform full cycle recruitment and selection for entry and mid-level positions including job advertising, applicant screening, conducting interviews, hiring, and onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive employee records
  • Ensure all WCB accident/incident reporting and documentation processes are completed in a timely manner
  • Respond to external Human Resources related inquires
  • Help to ensure companywide compliance to policies, procedures and best practices
  • Maintain positive working relationships with employees and the management team
  • Regularly communicate with departments regarding events, hiring, and HR related functions and needs
  • Prepare formal communications including; letters, reports and memorandums as necessary
  • Distribute policies, procedures and memorandums to the appropriate individuals, divisions, or departments across the organization as required
  • File, scan and photocopy documents as required
  • Receive and distribute all forms of HR communications
  • Assist with regular research and compliance initiatives regarding Human Resources issues and remain current with legislative changes and industry standards
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential
  • Regularly communicate with your peers & supervisors to ensure the overall success of the department
  • Able to work well in a team environment as well as independently
  • Ability to deal with a broad range of people & departments
  • Must possess strong Microsoft Office skills: Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Experience with ADP Workforce considered an asset
  • Ability to adhere to strong confidential requirements essential
  • Strong ability to motivate and support employees while maintaining a positive work environment
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills
  • One year experience in an administrative role preferred (experience in the Human Resources and Recruitment field considered a strong asset)
  • Adhere to all LLSR policies
  • Complete other tasks as assigned
  • A three-month probationary period applies
  • A police background check from your home country or province will be required upon commencement of employment
