The primary responsibility of the Lift Operators at Lake Louise is to ensure the safety of guests using our lifts.Job Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading guests in a safe, efficient, and friendly manner.
  • Daily opening, closing and periodic lift checks.
  • Completing daily lift logs and incident reports when required.
  • Maintenance of ramps and mazes.
  • Maintaining a clean, orderly lift area.
  • Communication with Mechanical Services for any lift problems.
  • Communication with Dispatch for any injuries, control work or in the event of avalanches.
  • Helping Patrol with end of day procedures.
  • Assisting with lift evacuations when necessary.
  • Able to work in adverse weather conditions
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Understanding all aspects of the Lift Operators’ Manual and all emergency procedures
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull and move equipment etc. in excess of twenty-five (25) pounds.
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
  • Follow all LLSR policies and procedures
  • Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
  • Beginner to Expert skiing/riding ability preferred
  • Energetic and self –motivated
  • Strong written and verbal English with a second language considered an asset
Work Schedule:5 days on/2 days offDress Code:Outdoor uniform (jacket and pants) which is provided for a rental fee, you are to provide all other necessary items in accordance with appearance policy.Quick Apply
