The Lake Louise Ski Resort is seeking an entry level Payroll Clerk to join its team on a permanent full-time basis. You will provide support in all activities regarding the administration of employee compensation, time & attendance, and benefits administration of approximately 750 permanent and seasonal employees.Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the calculation of pay according to hours worked, overtime, compensation, and bonuses, as per company policies, CRA and employment standards
  • Monitor and verify employee’s timekeeping entries
  • Assist with tracking of employee benefits
  • Utilize computer software for data entry and accounts management
  • Prepare reports for management by compiling and analyzing data
  • File relevant reports and documents as needed
  • Resolve any discrepancies that arise, through cause analysis process
  • Answer all employee questions about payroll processes
  • Liaise and cross train with the HR and Accounting departments to ensure accurate information for payment
  • Ensure strict confidentiality is upheld regarding individuals pay related information at all times
  • Support continuous improvement of processes and systems, including implementation of new applications
  • Any other duties as required by Management

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Education in accounting or related field preferred but not required
  • Previous experience in an office setting
  • Good working knowledge of relevant software
The Payroll Clerk will work in a shared office environment. All necessary tools to successfully carry out this role will be provided. Education and training for advancement within this role will be available. This position is a salaried position; extra hours may be required during high demand business periods.Quick Apply
