Note: Candidates must be able to start working on October 7th, 2022Snowmaking is a very important and highly respected part of our resort operation as well as a very unique working opportunity. Snowmakers are responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of equipment related to snow production among the resort. Most working hours are spent outdoors ensuring equipment is running smoothly and a quality snow product is being produced. Successful candidates will be provided with hands-on training and necessary knowledge to ensure tasks can be performed safely and successfully. Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a quality snow product is being produced
  • General up-keep and production maintenance of the snowmaking equipment
  • Set-up and shut-down of snowmaking equipment
  • Transportation of snowmaking equipment
  • Comply with the tasks and projects assigned by their foreman
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Must have high-level of physical fitness
  • Must have Intermediate-level or better ski/snowboard ability
  • Problem-solving ability and remaining calm under pressure an asset
  • Must enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Must be flexible in working day or night shifts
  • Previous snowmaking experience an asset but not required
  • Strong verbal and written English skills required
  • Previous snowmobile operation experience an asset but not required
  • Energetic and self-motivated
Work Schedule:4 days on/3 days off3 days on/4 days off Dress Code:Outdoor uniform (jacket and pants) which is provided for a rental fee, you are to provide all other necessary items in accordance with appearance policy.Quick Apply
