Let’s take your career to new heights.What is in it for you:Experience living in Banff National Park in the iconic location of Lake LouiseSubsidized staff accommodation provided on-site for full time statusAccess to our Lifestyle Program activitiesOne duty meal in our newly renovated staff cafeteriaCompetitive extended benefits package including medical, vision and dental for full time permanent statusEmployee Travel ProgramComprehensive Wellness Platform (LifeWorks)Discounts on food & beverage/fitness centre/spa/golfOpportunity to develop your talent and grow within Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and over 5,000 properties with AccorWhat you will be doing:Assist with the day to day administration and coordination of all Talent Acqusitioing activities within the Talent & Culture Department including: creation of PO’s; filing, photocopying, collating, mail, courier, phone and fax; typing of correspondence, reports, charts, tables, brochures and other collateral materialsResponsible for using the online recruitment system (INES) to effectively advertise and manage open positions and successfully track candidate applicationsCommunicate with candidates in person, by phone and email to ensure they receive a positive experience in their recruitment processesAssist the Talent Acquisition Manager with the coordination of recruitment related programs, including the student work experience program, foreign worker programs and employee referral schemeEnsure that all recruitment documentation is completed in an accurate and timely manner, including the preparation of employment contractsFollow and implement all Company and brand established onboarding procedures which ensure new colleagues feel welcome and all team members are prepared for the new colleagues’ arrivalAssist in coordinating Company and brand specific orientation and training programs by ensuring that all onboarding paper work is accurately completedLiaise with other Accor hotel properties to coordinate internal applications and transfersProcess background checks and work permit information in a timely and accurate mannerLiaise with the L&D and Colleague Services teams to ensure that new hire information is provided for orientation and staff housingSupport hiring managers with the interview process and provide valuable advice and feedback on candidate performanceAssist departments with conducting reference checks as requestedProduce and distribute recruitment reports as requiredEnsure all job descriptions within the hotel are accurate and currentProactively contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment practicesComply with all safety regulations and ensure a clean and safe working environmentAdhere to all environmental policies and initiativesComplete other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assignedUnderstand, communicate, implement, and adhere to all Talent & Culture policies & proceduresCompliant with the hotels COVID-19 PolicyEnsure a clean and safe working environment, and actively participate in health and safety initiativesAdhere to all hotel environmental policies and initiativesCarry out any other tasks as assigned by the Talent Acqusition Manager /Director, Talent & CultureYour experience and skills include:Degree or Diploma in related fieldMinimum of 1 year of experience in Human Resources role requiredHotel operation experience an assetPrevious recruitment experience gained in an internal or an agency environmentStrong administrative skills, with a proven ability to manage a high-volume workloadExperience using an Applicant Tracking System (e.g.Taleo / INES)Proficient in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong written communication skills, with the ability to write effective job advertisements and prepare accurate employment contractsStrong commitment to hiring manager and candidate service, with a professional telephone mannerStrong analytical skills, with a demonstrated commitment to creative problem solving and sharing expertise with team membersProven discretion and confidentiality in dealing with employment mattersAble to work independently, effectively prioritizing work and managing disruptionsAbility to support a collaborative environmentSelf‑motivated, with the ability to make effective decisionsDemonstrates initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervisionExcellent organizational and time management skillsYou may be required to work on holidays, weekends, overnights and other non-day shifts.
