Job Description

Courier DriverLandmark, MBOur company paid benefits package for full time employees includes Major Medical, Dental, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, as well as enrollment in the Maple Leaf Pension Plan.POSITION SUMMARY:Reporting to the Manager, Warehouse and Material Supply, the Pork Production Driver will contribute to ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of warehouse products to multiple sites within the division while providing courteous, quality-conscious customer service as set out by Maple Leaf Agri-Farms company guidelines.RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides quality customer service
  • Performs the daily loading, unloading, and transport of products while meeting on-time delivery requirements in a safe and efficient manner
  • Adheres to all company Biosecurity and Standard Operating Procedural requirements
  • Keeps delivery unit clean and well organized, both internally and externally, notwithstanding inclement weather conditions and biosecurity requirements
  • Performs and maintains all necessary and related paperwork
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION:
  • Ability to lift 25 kgs on a frequent basis is required
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently, self-direct, and prioritize as required
  • Ability to communicate (both written and oral) and work efficiently with all operations
  • A valid Class 5A license and favourable abstract is required
  • Knowledge of hog industry and biosecurity requirements would be considered assets
