You are team oriented, motivated, and have a high attention for details, accuracy and can prioritize tasks. You will play a key role at one of our remote exploration camps by performing all primary responsibilities in a timely manner independently. This position reports to the Camp Manager.ResponsibilitiesPerform tasks according to safe work practices and safe job procedures.First cook of unsafe practices and unsafe environment.Report all incidents and accidents immediately.Practice good housekeeping in the work area at all times.Participate in daily Toolbox meetings.Perform dish washing as per Food Safety Plan.Peform cleaning and sanitization of all surfaces, equipment and small wares as per the Food Safety Plan and Covid protocolSupport food safe storage and labeling of potential food allergy items.Ensure food storage areas are organized.Participate in daily Toolbox meetings.Wash and replace bed linens as required.Clean and sanitize Dry AreaClean common spaces at work site, TV room, dining room, laundry roomRequired Knowledge & ExperienceMinimum of three (2) years working in a remote camp as a Camp/Kitchen AttendantOrganizational and problem-solving abilities.Good communication skills.Highly motivated, team-oriented individual with attention to detail.Ability to work a rotation schedule.Physical ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.Able to lift and move heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform physical labor.Able to maintain a high level of performance over a 10 – 12 hour shift.This position is working on a rotational 2 Weeks in 2 Weeks out schedule. Preference will be given to candidates that live in the Gold Bridge and surrounding areas.
