Company DescriptionAre you looking for an internship where you can develop yourself personally and professionally, reconnect to nature and play a part in meaningful conservation projects, all this while living in a supportive community When you join us as an intern, you won’t be restricted to just one opportunity. So whichever internship you join us for, you will get the opportunity to work in the office, outside with the animals, in the kitchen, with guests, in our woodlot or getting involved in conservation projects. While you can focus on one aspect of ranch life, you are not restricted to this and you get a holistic experience of what life on a guest ranch entails.Job DescriptionTasks:

  • Research how the ranch can effectively implement our Three Pillar philosophy of Personal Development, Nature Connection and Nature Conservation among our community partners and guests to create a collaborative culture where innovation can thrive
  • Seek to develop a work environment that promotes strong community partner ideals (this is social-entrepreneurship); to improve our performance and work to achieve our goals
  • Refine the process for guiding guests and community partners through exercises and activities that encourage high-level self-actualization and personal growth, and articulate them in line with our philosophy
  • Lead by example and be a mentor guide yourself using the research data, and the newly-formulated activities, to encourage community partners to participate and develop themselves in their journey to empowerment and creating value in their lives
  • Implement Three Pillar philosophy of Nature Connection, Nature Conservation and Personal Development into content

Responsibilities:
  • You support our community and get involved in group activities, such as our weekly success reviews, daily meetings, planning communal activities and taking care of daily ranch chores.
  • You take responsibility for your Personal Development and for creating a positive environment around you.
  • You take responsibility to conserve the nature and wilderness you benefit from.
  • You contribute to something larger than yourself by participating in Nature Conservation projects and mentoring community partners.
  • You reflect on your progress by writing and sharing weekly blog stories.
  • You contribute to the ranch culture by sharing inspirational insights, photos and videos with our community.
  • You create your own 40 hour week work schedule that meets your interests and moves you towards your goals.
