Malahat NationMalahat Nation is Hiring!!Environment Program CoordinatorReports to: Manager of Environmental ProjectsAnticipated Start Date: November 15, 2021Terms of Employment: Full-TimeJob PurposeTo integrate, plan, track, and manage environment and marine shipping-related initiatives and data collection within the Malahat Environment department.With increasing commercial, recreational, and industrial activity in the Salish Sea, Malahat Nation is prioritizing protection of the important cultural and environmental resources that are a part of Malahat Nation’s territory. Under the Supervision of the Manager of Environmental Projects, and in collaboration with other members of the Malahat Lands and Environment team, the successful applicant will coordinate activities to support Malahat leadership in managing environmental and marine shipping concerns. With their excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, the successful applicant will contribute to enhancing Malahat’s community based capacity for planning and emergency response capabilities.
