Primary Function: The Information Technology (IT) Junior Coordinator will provide support and assistance to the IT department in both it’s daily tasks and several different ongoing and new projects. The Information Technology (IT) Junior Coordinator will report directly to the IT Coordinator and will assist the various departments of AFNWA.Roles Responsibilities· Assisting in the implementation, documentation, and maintenance of hardware such as phones, laptops, tablets, etc.· Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues with deployment of all hardware, (first-level support for trouble shooting) on Windows 10 and 11 devices.· Assist in the set-up of new employees on their mobile devices & consign of software.· Respond to a high volume of scheduled and unscheduled requests for assistance· Providing employees with training on the operation and maintenance of software, utilizing Remote Management Software· Assist in projects of various kinds including information security, data integrity, deployment and configuration of laptops and desktops as well as the selection& implementation of new software such as CMMS & central ticketing· Assist with the tracking of inventory, especially work-phones and laptops· Assist in development of asset tagging, tracking to maintain all organizational inventoryReporting Relationships: Reports to: IT Coordinator, Corporate ServicesMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: · Must be a recent graduate (Graduated after May 2021) with a post-secondary certificate in a related program.· Ability to provide high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and competing deadlines.· Ability to work in a team environment· Demonstrated problem solving, time-management, priority-setting and critical thinking skills.· Excellent interpersonal communication skills; both written and oral.· Demonstrated proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite of programs, including Word,· Teams, One drive and SharePoint.· Experience conducting audits or data quality management is an asset· Working knowledge and experience with office equipment like printers, computers, mobile devices, and docking stations.· Knowledge or experience with SCADA is an asset but not required· Basic knowledge of troubleshooting network issues, wireless and LAN.· Valid Driver’s License, insurance, and use of a vehicle· Satisfactory Criminal Record Check· Preference will be given to Aboriginal candidate from Nova Scotia. Primary work location will be in Millbrook Nova ScotiaAvailable for occasional travel throughout Atlantic Provinces.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: From $46,000.00 per yearBenefits:
