Job Description

Job Overview:The person will be tasked with developing a variety of both internal and external projects with an end goal of maximizing business targets for the Walmart business team. They will be responsible for working with the Walmart National Account Manager in Ontario and managing a portion of the portfolio. The successful candidate will report directly to the National Account Manager.RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Business development - Work in collaboration with National Account Manager to develop customer plans, presentations and customer programs with an end goal of achieving sales and profit targets
  • Data management and Analysis - Develop and support a variety of data sources (customer/internal sales reports, Retail Link, Nielsen data, market trends) to develop an in-depth understanding of the marketplace and suggest avenues for growth to customers – turn data into insights for execution.
  • Forecasting - support internal and external forecasting capabilities to improve in stock position, fill rates, and forecast accuracy
  • Trade Spend - Effectively assist on managing budgets based on Account objectives
  • Field Sales Operation development and Execution - Develop and support tools, promotions and sell sheets for execution at Walmart
  • Internal facilitation – keep internal teams focused on successful execution of customer programs and opportunities
  • Draft detailed action plans for attaining sales and profit targets based on a solid understanding of customer needs and business opportunities
  • Work with Revenue Growth Management in understanding and execution support for launch of new products into Walmart
  • Prepare presentations, business reviews, and sales reports that identify areas for improvement and business opportunities
Requirements:QUALIFICATIONS.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration
  • Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in sales, preferably in CPG

  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency of MS Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint);
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, interacts well with multiple departments as required;

  • Must own a reliable vehicle, valid driver`s licence, with a clean driver`s abstract;
