Specializing in immersive motion picture technologies, our employees are driven by a passion to take audiences around the world to places they’ve only dreamed of.Come explore IMAX – where innovation, creativity and passion come together.Required SkillsWhat you’ll be doing:This position assists in the detailed tracking, acquirement, organization, documentation, and processing of DMR picture deliverables.Monitor deliverables via Signiant/Aspera type services and liaise with IMAX I/O and external vendors to arrange pickup/drop off or up/download of assetsData management on Linux, Windows, and Mac platforms – meticulous organizing, documenting and processing of picture and reference deliverablesData verification: Review/QC image files, assess technical parameters, and analyze content against production documentation and correspondences to ensure the data is complete and correctCreate, circulate, and maintain picture tracking documents via Excel, SharePoint, and internal systemsAssist in program/project planning, development, and executionCommunicate with internal teams on status of data, unique project details, data discrepancies, priorities, and deadlinesReport to the DMR Management team with the status of all versioning work within the department in a timely mannerAssist with general administrative duties as requiredWhat we’re looking for:Post-secondary degree or diploma1+ years professional experienceExperience with data management, understanding of file naming convention, directory structure, etc.Meticulous attention to detailStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs, particularly Excel (on a Mac platform)Flexibility to work overtime, evenings, and weekends is desiredExperience with post production software (Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Nuke, etc.) a plusPrevious experience working in the media & entertainment industry a plusThe ideal candidate will have:Creative Problem-Solver: can assimilate information from a variety of sources to reach a logical conclusion, pro-actively able to learn, adapt and execute quicklyExcellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and thrive in an environment of shifting priorities and deadlinesOutstanding oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills including a professional and adept phone mannerAbility to maintain and follow-up on time-sensitive tasksAbility to work in a team environment, while at the same time being a self-starterRequired ExperienceFor consideration, please apply online.
