We currently have a full time opportunity for Analyst Strategic Sourcing. This role can be based out of one our main offices including: Stellarton, NS; Mississauga, ON; or Calgary, ABJob DescriptionWhat youll get to do in this fast paced role:

  • Locating relevant information for baseline development
  • Developing overall and vendor level baseline
  • Developing vendor pricing models to be included in sourcing processes
  • Reviewing pricing submitted by vendors and estimating impact
  • Supporting negotiation process – e.g. scenario analysis, specific asks
  • Calculating estimated savings
  • Support creation and standardization of reporting to assess Sobeys Indirect Sourcing performance
  • Work with functional leadership and finance for tracking and incorporating savings into budgets
  • Conduct any additional ad-hoc analyses to support sourcing events, vendor management and industry trend reviews
Job RequirementsWhat your resume will include and demonstrate to us:
  • An Undergraduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or a DEC and a minimum of 4 years relevant experience
  • Previous experience in analyzing data and providing recommendation
