Job Description

Infosys is seeking ArcGIS ESRI Consultant - In this role you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your domain proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including, strategic planning, requirement analysis and solution engineering in related programs. You will play an important role in providing consulting to leading global companies and at the same time have the freedom to learn and build skills. You will be part of the delivery stream and work across all the stages of life cycle to provide valuable inputs to the team and also contribute in the individual capacity.Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, Toronto or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
  • At least 11 years of experience in Information Technology.
Must have skills and Experiences:
  • Experience in working with ESRI ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server (JavaScript API, HTML5, Type Script, Silverlight API, custom Widgets), ArcGIS Online, Web App Builder and ArcGIS Mobile.
  • Experience with Oracle and MS SQL-Server
  • Hands on experience with GIS Product like ArcGIS server, Data Model, web services, python scripting, geo-processing services.
  • Hands on experience with GIS Product like Schenider ArcFM Desktop , Session Manager , Process manager , Geodatabase manager and Designer
Preferred kills and Experiences:
  • Strong GIS domain background and hands on experience in Esri Tools
  • Experience in implementing GIS systems will be an added advantage
  • Experience of playing the GIS development and lead role for at least 6 years.
  • Candidates with strong development background in Esri suite of applications will be preferred in this role.
  • Should be familiar with the latest technology trends in the GIS Industry.
  • Coordinate with offshore in converting the business requirements into functional use cases and technical design.
  • Should be able to guide the developers in resolving issues related to the development.
  • Develop GIS based POCs to showcase ideas, prepare for demos to presenting to the business user.
  • Should be able to perform issue resolutions during support /Post-Go Live phase. Hands on experiences in resolving production issues, problem solving during project warranty & maintenance phase.
  • Should be able to assist the Testing team with the functional areas to be tested.
  • The candidate must be a team player and is also expected to help the project team with any functional issues that may arise during the course of the project.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Participate in project review meetings with the client and provide regular updates to offshore.
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
