The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills as well as an ability to translate analysis on the business into recommended strategies. In addition, the successful candidate must possess strong cross functional leadership, attention to detail and a sense of urgency to commercialize strategic projects with excellence.You will…

  • Analyze a variety of data sources and combine insights to deliver actionable recommendations, growth strategies, risks and opportunities
  • Establish format and SKU priorities rooted in strong insights
  • Review trends, identify emerging formats and white space opportunities
  • Support annual business review and annual strategy planning providing key information and business insights revealing opportunities and providing strategic guidance for Hershey
  • Develop channel specific insights, support and strategies and lead commercialization of new items to help deliver these strategies
  • Collaborate directly with retail partners to develop and maintain our customer innovation pipeline
  • Become an expert in the chocolate, candy and baking categories and help impact and shape a dynamic, competitive and fun category!
Skills, Knowledge and Education Requirements
  • 2+ year’s progressive professional experience
  • Bachelor’s degree: Business, Economics, and/or Marketing major preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience across a wide breadth of audiences including Senior Management
  • Overall business knowledge and holistic general management approach
  • Strong leadership skills – ability to manage a cross-functional team and many stake holders
  • Project management experience (timelines, budgets)
  • Superior planning coupled with outstanding analytical abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a constantly evolving environment
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with P&Ls/Cost accounting
  • Willingness to be a part of a high performing team that works hard and has fun!
