Job Description

The Danish Pastry House is seeking an entry level Assistant Baker/Line worker for their production facility on the Mississauga/Oakville border.Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of various deserts, pastries and other baked goods for retail stores
  • Follow specifications of the recipes
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to new baking concepts and ideas
  • An eye for detail and consistency
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Follow company Heath and safety policies and processes
  • Must maintain food quality and hygiene standard
Skills and Experience
  • · Baking experience is an asset
  • · Energetic with a positive work ethic
  • · Able to multi-task
  • · Reliable and able to work independently with confidence
  • · Able to work as a team under the Department Manager
  • · Must be able to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment
  • · Able to pay attention to detail
  • -Food handling certification
