The recruitment team at Myticas Consulting is looking for an experienced A Mobile (Automation) Tester who would be interested in a contract opportunity offered within the Mississauga, ON region.Fedaral Government Issued Clearance is a MUST (Enhanced, Secret or Top Secret)6 MonthsDUTIESMeasure level of effort during sprint planning, work with BA and product team to commit to team delivery of sprint deliverables, validate acceptance criteria, help define acceptance criteria with product, write test cases, manage test suites , update test cases on requirement updates, regression testing and work for the general performance , maintainability of the mobile app ( Android amp; iOS)Create, Execute and Maintain both manual and automated test cases to verify Mobile-Frontend-Backend applicationsSupport Project Testers and Business users in execution of Project Regression and UAT tests to ensure proper test coverage of middleware changesTesting scope includes: Functional, Non-Functional, positive, negative, integration and regression test casesCreation and maintenance of both Test Documentation and support documentation for Project teamsEffectively communicate status and issues with QA Lead/Manager, Development, Project Management and Other stakeholders as neededSKILLS AND EXPERIENCESMust Have:5+ years of experience in software Quality Assurance: Creating test cases and processes from requirements, user stories and other source material/information, Test execution and documentation of test results5+ years of experience in writing test cases for manual and automated testingSolid working experience with mobile design and user experience principalsSolid working experience creating SQL statements to verify data in the databaseFamiliarity with common Automation tools amp; frameworks (Katalon, Selenium, SoapUI , Jenkins etc)Should have some hands on with mobile automation tools like AppiumMust have primary knowledge of Web services and verification using PostmanAbility to work effectively meeting deadlines in an agile environmentProven ability to collaborate with multiple teamsAbility to quickly learn and become familiar with mobile testing - ability to understand business domain and customers' needs is a plusNice to have:Worked on AWS or other cloud platformsGood written and verbal communication skills - ability to clearly articulate verbally and in writing bugs that were encountered and steps to reproduce themSelf-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a project teamRigorous in following processes and documenting your workStrong analytical skills with excellent problem solving and debugging abilities
