Job Description

This is a remote, work-from-home position, but we will expect this person to come into our head office in Mississauga, ON periodically. We prefer candidates who are based in southern or southwest Ontario and we require that candidates have a stable internet connection and a minimally disruptive working environment.OverviewAn estimated 3 million Canadians are hearing impaired and that number will continue to rise as the population ages. At Amplifon, we are dedicated to serving our clients and helping to make a positive difference in peoples lives through the gift of sound.As a Billing Specialist you are part of our back-office finance team that supports third-party administration. Within the Amplifon team, youll have room to grow as we continue to expand and strive to become Canadas leader in hearing healthcare.Responsibilities

  • Serve as the single point of contact for our clinics to drive timely filing of third-party billing
  • Provide a fresh outlook to the team and lead the optimization of our billing processes
  • Maintain and update patient files with accuracy and an attention to detail
  • Lead compliance efforts and assist with managing hearing aid inventory in our clinics
  • Lend your wisdom in supporting special projects as they arise
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma required. Associate degree or higher preferred
  • Proficiency with computer and MS Office are required
Desired Qualifications
  • 2 years of relevant medical billing experience is preferred
  • Committed to providing phenomenal customer service
  • Professional and articulate verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks
  • Detailed-oriented in reviewing work to ensure accuracy
