We know the health of people, the planet and our business are interconnected, each impacting the others.Our PositionReporting to the BioResp Sales Manager -Alliance, you are responsible for developing strategic relationships with key influencers, creating opportunities and improving access to medicines for patient in order to successfully launch a new biologic treatment for Canadian patients diagnosed with Severe Asthma. We are looking for someone who seeks to challenge the status quo to create innovative solutions, processes, and strategies that yield growthResponsibilities include:

  • Build effective account strategies and plans in order to drive sales performance to exceed expectations while you creatively work within assigned budgets
  • Effectively communicate the scientific and clinical benefits of our products to top research and clinical practitioners using a multifaceted approach including Face to Face and Virtual/Digital Channels
  • Create deep key account and key influencer relationships by analyzing problems, considering options and identifying innovative solutions by being tenacious and drawing upon all available resources
  • Build and arrange effective speaker programs with physician advocates and KOLs working with the broader Sales, Brand and Scientific team
  • Work aligned to all external regulations and internal policies and training requirements
  • Working within our AZ/Amgen Alliance structure, you will further foster collaboration and drive the success of our franchise.
  • Work collaboratively to share improved practices and create opportunities for learning and shared platforms
  • Collect and report Adverse Events in accordance with AstraZeneca policies and procedures
Qualifications:
  • University degree in science and/or business
  • 3-5 years of Biologics, Oncology or Specialty Pharmaceutical sales experience with sound knowledge of key account management
  • Able to positively impact and influence others and quickly establish credibility while building strong business relationships
  • Experience engaging key influencers in complex clinical environments, you have built the strategy to improve treatment and executed the strategy using your planning and influencing skills
  • Experience leveraging multiple communication channels (virtual, Omni and face to face) to engage key influencers
  • Well-organized with strong communication and business skills
  • A great teammate, able to work within a diverse, cross-functional team, you improve team cohesiveness and agility
  • A valid Drivers license is required. Ability to travel with overnight stays up to 25% of the time
  • Fluency (oral and written) in French and English is an asset
