  • Explore new opportunities to drive growth of key GSK assets
  • Collect and analyze data from internal and external sources to develop and support traditional and innovative/nontraditional strategic projects
  • Commercial assessments
  • Work with cross functional teams across the organization to understand and capitalize on rapidly changing trends and opportunities in the health care environment
Projects
  • Portfolio assessments - financial/lifecycle management
  • Nontraditional and innovative programs to drive portfolio growth throughout the healthcare and reimbursement channel
  • Initiate digital & sales promotional tactics
  • External partnerships management
Basic qualifications:
  • General knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is required.
  • Self-starter who is innovative and a solution-based thinker.
  • Creative, persuasive individual who must work well in a cross functional team environment.
  • Results oriented with a proven ability to deal with ambiguity, take initiative, lead and manage projects
  • Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to interface with external, internal and GSK international customers in a matrix environment (responsiveness, “can-do” attitude, tact, ability to facilitate group meetings).
  • Openness to learn commercial processes and follow governance regulations
  • Clear and concise, verbal and written communication skills. Well-developed communication skills including listening, summarizing, probing, clarifying
  • Strong computer skills - MS Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • MBA candidate with a life-science background (an asset)
Preferred qualifications:
  • Medical or Pharmacy degree or advanced degree in Biology, Biochemistry or Physiology.
  • Past experience with Health Technology Assessments
  • Strong interest in Business Development, marketing processes for commercialization of pharmaceuticals, financial management in the pharmaceutical market and life cycle management
  • Strong Project Management skills a key asset
