It is an education technology company that offers single or online group classes on coding, Minecraft, graphic design, comic creation, 3D animation, digital marketing, and photography, among others, to kids ages 6 to 18 years old.To know more about us, visit https://qacademy.ca/and https://qrangers.com/.Roles and Responsibilities: We are looking for a technology-savvy, creative and innovative leader with an entrepreneurial spirit that drives strategy, planning and goal setting resulting in the dynamic growth of Q Academy as a world leader in short-term entertainment and skills-building online programming for trainees of all ages. The CEO will propel Q Academy from start-up towards investor-based expansion as a cross-functional catalyst.

  • Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure the best results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission.
  • Act as a strategic partner by developing and implementing the company’s plans and programs. Provide inspired leadership company-wide.
  • Communicate effectively, establish credibility throughout the organisation, and oversee the company’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing.
  • Provide inspired leadership company-wide. Lead and motivate the executives and leaders to advance employee engagement and develop a high-performing managerial team.
  • Provide strategic input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organisation, explicitly evaluating potential mergers, acquisitions, or partnerships.
  • Work with the finance team to develop a solid cash flow projection and reporting mechanism, which includes setting a minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs.
  • Analyse problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth.
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of the markets and industry of the company and build alliances and partnerships with other organisations.
  • Make high-quality investing decisions to advance the business and increase profits.
  • Enforce adherence to legal guidelines geographically and in-house policies to maintain the company’s legality and business ethics
  • Create an environment that promotes excellent performance and positive morale.
  • Attract, coach, and retain top talent while building a performance-driven culture
  • Provide ongoing consultation and advice on project, brand, operational, procedural and any other business matter relating to Q Academy;
  • Develop, create and coach a top-notch and successful revenue sales team to achieve short-and-long-term goals leading to expanded reach and mission alignment impact.
  • Represent Q Academy at business, political and social events, as required to promote the interests of the company.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Proven experience as CEO or in other managerial positions
  • Excellent management and supervisory skills.
  • Global expertise and operational orientation (MUST)
  • Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing the vision.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven negotiation skills.
  • Executive Presence and capability to maintain a calm demeanour in high-stress environments.
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
Education Qualification
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related field, MBA from top schools preferred.
  • Eight to ten years of industry experience in leadership positions.

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
