Just ask!Job LevelNV-09As a Communications Advisor, you coordinate effective marketing communication initiatives through strategy, planning, execution, optimization, and reporting to help The Personal Insurance Company achieve its goals. This includes hands-on review of creative assets, paid media, and coordination of traditional and digital deliverables by both external agencies and internal creative and content shared services team.Coordination and collaboration are critical as you frequently interact with stakeholders working in other business areas in the design and delivery of marketing initiatives to ensure client needs and corporate objectives are met. You ensure approval processes and validations are met and key stakeholders are informed of each step of the project. Strong Communication skills and Interpersonal savvy are therefore essential. Project management skills are critical as you coordinate multiple projects at one time.General Information on the PositionMain responsibilities

  • Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining cross-functional relationships with research, strategy, performance, relationship marketing, media, creative, and account managers (The Personal – line of business)
  • You will develop and write creative briefs that align with annual marketing plan
  • Lead campaigns and projects from concept through to execution and launch, both with internal creative and content team as well as external agencies
  • You help generate demand and boost brand awareness and product sales
  • Coordinate work with representatives of other departments and partners, in the design and delivery of traditional and digital marketing communications to ensure client needs and objectives are met
  • Advise your internal clients and partners to help them position, plan, develop, execute, launch, and monitor performance of various marketing communications from end to end
  • Monitor quotes and sales reporting and maximize assigned insurance groups performance, profitability, and business development
  • Analyze marketing communications and make recommendations to adjust tactics to increase effectiveness
  • Identify, analyze and problem solve issues as they arise and make recommendations to decision-makers
  • Keep abreast of key trends in Home and Auto group insurance, marketing, digital marketing, and consumer behavior.

  • Workplace: Position located in Toronto, Mississauga or Aurora, depending on the applicant selected. The work arrangement for the position is hybrid work #LI-Hybrid

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Communications or Marketing
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Marketing and Communications, including digital marketing, advertising, and social media
  • Insurance industry experience (an asset)

  • Knowledge of executing marketing campaigns, from brief through to execution
