You will have 7 Key Account Managers reporting directly to you, and ensure that our sales team is successful with timely coaching, mentoring to develop skills and held accountable for the delivery of the sales plan.The National Sales Manager, N&I will be a key member of the (N&I) management team and will be a key voice for the sales team and customers to ensure the business unit plans & strategic plans are customer focused and successful for the affiliate.GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Uphold a strong compliance culture by ensuring the team has a solid understanding of the current compliance environment and operates within the guidelines.
  • Provide strong leadership to motivate and inspire the team
  • Participate in creation of strategic direction and brand planning and ensure the effective implementation of Sales and Marketing strategy
  • Develop KAM business plan template and manage KAM business planning activities to align with strategic direction and resource allocation in order to maximize ROI on a short and long term basis
  • Develop and implement Neurology and Immunology (N&I) cycle team meetings in partnership with the marketing team
  • Select, promote, retain and plan the succession of KAMs
  • Identify training needs and development areas and create appropriate individualized plans
  • Support the KAMs in-field development to agreed upon activity targets
Location: Field based in CanadaWho You Are:Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Life Science or relevant, or MBA
  • 3 + years of proven experience in account management
  • Fluent in English
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Sales Manager experience in pharma / biotech - preferably in the appropriate TA
  • Bilingual (French and English) preferred
  • Previous experience in Neurology and Immunology (N&I) considered a strong asset
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Siebel, Lotus Notes, PDA)
  • Excellent analytic, organization and communication skills
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Willingness to travel (50%)

  • Soutenir une forte culture de la conformité en veillant à ce que léquipe ait une solide compréhension de lenvironnement de conformité actuel et opère dans le respect des directives.
  • Assurer un leadership fort pour motiver et inspirer léquipe.
  • Participer à la création de lorientation stratégique et de la planification de la marque et veiller à la mise en œuvre efficace de la stratégie de vente et de marketing.
  • Développer un modèle de plan daffaires responsables des comptes majeurs et gérer les activités de planification des affaires responsables des comptes majeurs pour saligner sur la direction stratégique et lallocation des ressources afin de maximiser le ROI à court et à long terme.
  • Développer et mettre en œuvre les réunions déquipe du cycle de neurologie et dimmunologie (N&I) en partenariat avec léquipe marketing.
  • Sélectionner, promouvoir, retenir et planifier la succession des responsables des comptes majeurs
  • Identifier les besoins en formation et les domaines de développement et créer des plans individualisés appropriés.
  • Soutenir le développement des responsables des comptes majeurs sur le terrain pour atteindre les objectifs dactivité convenus.

  • Baccalauréat ou maîtrise en sciences de la vie ou dans un domaine connexe, ou MBA.
  • 3 + ans dexpérience avérée dans la gestion des comptes
  • Maîtrise de langlais
Expérience
  • Expérience en tant que directeur des ventes dans le secteur pharmaceutique/biotechnologique - de préférence dans le TA approprié
  • Bilingue (français et anglais) de préférence
  • Expérience préalable en neurologie et immunologie (N&I) considérée comme un atout majeur.
  • Connaissances informatiques (Microsoft Office, Siebel, Lotus Notes, PDA)
  • Excellentes capacités danalyse, dorganisation et de communication
  • Solides compétences en matière de négociation
  • Volonté de voyager (50%)
