Job Description

Customer Service Representative - Bonded WarehouseKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Update Operating system with Arrivals, PC or Skid counts, location of freight into the warehouse
  • Release freight to Carriers or Customers once Customs cleared, Steamship releases, Dock or Storage fee’s if applicable
  • Customer Service with our own Import Dept. Team and outside Carriers or Customers
  • Preparation of Air & Ocean Container freight documents
  • Answer phones calls, emails and warehouse billing
  • Preparing paperwork for new containers, plus many other duties.
  • Other projects, duties and responsibilities as assigned
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREDEducation and Industry Knowledge
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize urgent matters is key.
  • Previous warehouse and/or Administrative experience is an asset
  • Working knowledge of Bonded warehousing/3PL and transportation industries is an asset
  • Pays close attention to detail and requires accuracy
  • Manages time effectively
  • Possesses awareness of warehouse and equipment safety procedures
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Demonstrates problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Team player
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency with computers, ability to work in most Windows applications, especially Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge in ERP/WMS software (i.e. RF Pathways) is an asset
  • Working knowledge of transportation management software (i.e. CargoWise) is an asset

  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to encourage a team-based approach, and develop excellent relationships with internal and external customers
  • The ability to positively and enthusiastically motivate the ITN Team to short and long term success
