Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLEThe Data Administration Specialist offers administrative support to various program teams based on current projects across all of Patient Support Services.Please note: This is a hybrid role, requiring to work from our Mississauga office twice a week.A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Data entry for all program forms and documents
  • Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders or optical scanners
  • Provides validation support for Data Migrations and other projects as needed
  • Performs general ad hoc requests for assistance
  • Enters orders for patient supplies
  • Participates in data integrity/file cleanup projects as required
  • Maintains relevant level of knowledge of, and adherence to, Health Canada GVP (Good Pharmacovigilance Practices) guidelines appropriate to the position
  • Maintains patient confidentiality in all communications, in accordance with relevant privacy legislation
  • Must be able to identify and report Adverse Events to health Canada, Med Info and enter into source system and third party systems
Job QualificationWHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
  • College diploma in administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Basic understanding of patient support programs and their related data points/functions considered an asset.
  • Call Centre or customer service experience an asset.
  • Strong computer and software skills: Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Dynamics CRM database entry, VOIP telephony, web portals, teleconferences, web-based meetings.
