The hire will be responsible to help lay foundations to harness value of the data. The work spans to accomplish some of the foundation data capabilities which data engineering team working towards, such as Modelling and meta data, data discoverability, data interoperability and integration, Business Intelligence Analytics and Reporting and Data Security and Privacy. The hire will work building a Meta data framework for model driven development for Data In motion, Data at rest and Transformations (ETL).Data Ops Analysts Lead is a strategic professional who stay abreast with of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and business. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advise and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function / job family.The role will report into Data Ops Lead of Data Engineering organization.Key Responsibilities:Primarily working on capabilities and tooling for Meta data, this including building repos, data discovery capabilities,Meta data framework for model driven development for Data In motion, Data at rest and transformations (ETL)Metadata templates development this includes both for data and as well data contracts (Understanding data and consuming data)Works on tools and frameworks to build DQ rulesEvaluates new tools which including Catalogue, Modelling, Tools / Plugins which can generate code out of modelContributes to meta model specification, data contracts specifications, privacy and security of dataExperience and Skills6-10 years in Data modelling, data analysisExpertise in data modelling and meta data.
