  • As an active member of the multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for the delivery of client-centered nutritional counseling to patients in the Cardiac Health Program
  • Provide assessment, contribute to care plan development, establish goal-oriented treatment interventions, and provide patient/family education
  • Acts as a resource for other health care providers and the community as required
  • Acts as a mentor/coach to dietetic interns as required
  • Experience supervising dietetic interns an asset
  • Experienced in the management of enteral and parenteral nutrition
Key Qualifications:
  • Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics combined with an accredited Dietetic Internship program
  • Current registration with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
  • Membership in Dietitians of Canada
  • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
  • Positive work and attendance record essential
  • Reliable, flexible, creative, self-directed professional, able to work effectively and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Established clinical skills in nutritional management of medical and complex patients with a focus in the area of cardiology
  • Flexibility to cover multiple areas
