Job Description

Headquartered in Mississauga with satellite offices throughout Ontario, the company values its dedicated group of personnel who consistently provide customers with the highest level of support.WORKING HOURSMonday to Friday from 2:30PM - 11:00PMPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESThe primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Receive and process requests for residential/commercial service and schedule Technicians as appropriate.
  • Process and transmit information and instructions to co-ordinate the activities of Technicians using a variety of computer-aided communications and dispatching programs.
  • Maintain familiarity with Lakeside’s service agreements to ensure rapid resolution when customers are experiencing problems.
  • Dispatch service calls in a timely manner to meet service level agreements and customer expectations.
  • Dispatch personnel according to predetermined schedules and work orders, or as required due to emergency situations.
  • Identify and report potential/areas of improvement of field staff to Supervisor/Team Lead.
  • Cooperate in the scheduling and task delegation of team members to ensure appropriate level of dispatch coverage.
  • Be available to work public holidays if the day falls on your scheduled shift
  • Participate as needed, in special adhoc department projects and meetings, and perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERINCE REQUIREMENT
  • Must have obtained an Ontario high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Asset to have obtained post-secondary diploma in Business Administration or Emergency Telecommunications or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-3 years Dispatch and/or Customer Service experience.
  • Experience in Service Dispatching an asset.
WORKING AT A LAKESIDE LOCATION
  • Flexibility is key; applicants should be open to working voluntary and mandatory extra hours and willing to work at a fast pace.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to operate a computer and learn a variety of software related to job duties
