You will work hand-in-hand with the Digital Content Team to capture world class product photography for our advertising content and website product pages.If you want to work with one of Canada’s fastest growing e-commerce apparel brands, then this may be the job for you!Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesAct as the lead photographer for all on-figure e-commerce photo shootsWork with the digital content team to establish best practices for capturing engaging images, taking into account the unique composition of each garment (fabrics, fit, colours, etc.)Lead shoots by providing clear guidance to the on-set team and models when applicableOversee the set-up of all photography sessions and folders, the consistency of the lighting and image colour, and troubleshoot both the software and the lighting equipment as neededAssist with selecting images, cropping, and creating final assets for various ad campaigns, social media content plans, and website pages as neededOwn assorted content projects and assist with other cross-functional responsibilities as assignedShoot and edit video content both in and out of studio when neededConsistently meet with management to review shooting standards, discuss creative and technical issues, and provide solutions to production roadblocksContribute to a collaborative team environment by working well with different personality typesEnsure brand standards are consistently metExperience, Education and QualificationsRelevant post-secondary education in film, photography, fashion, or digital arts2 – 5 years of experience in photography/videography, preferably producing marketing contentExperience working in the e-commerce and/or retail space is highly valued!Knowledge, Skills and AttributesExperience using Capture One to shoot tethered and with studio lighting equipmentStrong Adobe Creative suite skills including the use of Photoshop, Bridge, Lightroom, Premiere Pro and After EffectsA keen interest in digital marketing (website optimization, digital ads)Excellent photography skillsExcellent communication and organization skillsGood grasp of fashion/apparel photographyMust have a positive attitudeTake ownership of work and lead by exampleAccommodations and Accessibility:American Tall provides employment accommodation during the recruitment process.
