Based on ExperienceStart Date: Until FilledCLUB OVERVIEWThe Erin Mills Soccer Club (EMSC) is a non-profit community-based organization in Mississauga, offering indoorand outdoor recreational and competitive soccer programs since 1972. The Erin Mills Soccer Club is also knownas EMSC and Home of the Eagles. ESMC is committed to develop, teach, and promote soccer to all ages, at alllevels of play, in a safe and healthy environment.For more information on the club please visit our website: www.erinmillssoccer.comJOB OVERVIEWErin Mills SC is currently seeking candidates for the Customer Service Representative position. As part of thecustomer service and facilities team, you will assist customers with registration and queries, in addition to assistingfacilities with bookings. You will liaise with the both the customer service staff and the General Managerseamlessly to create an efficient work environment with a focus on providing top-notch customer service andincreasing our clubhouse bookings. This positioninvolves customer & community interaction daily, so it is vital that problem solving, critical thinking, and customerservice are highlights of your candidacy.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Provide excellent customer service at all times
  • Answer telephone, screen and direct calls, provide information to callers
  • Oversee/supervise facility bookings
  • Enters data from customers into Power-Up (Club Management System)
  • Greet persons entering organization
  • Follow up to customer inquiries by taking specific action in a timely manner
  • Take and relay messages
  • Problem solve to help customers resolve issues on first call, appropriately communicating with upset
customers to resolve their inquiries
  • Ensure knowledge of ongoing or new programs
  • Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support
  • Participates in additional training courses when needed
  • Assisting the Customer with the correct programs for them and their families
  • Tidy and maintain the facility, which may include tasks such as: empty garbage in dumpster, restocking of all
items in washrooms, vacuuming, mopping of Futsal floor/Lobby
  • Convene Indoor Adult Recreational League

  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required and as assigned by supervisor or manager
  • Thrives as a team player in a fast-paced, high-energy, change-oriented environment
  • Distribute and inventory of uniforms/supplies
  • Distribute photo packages and maintain log
  • Maintain updated Forms
Administration Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend changes to the General Manager
  • Identify and recommend areas for policy development
  • Development of objectives and work with General Manager to successfully achieve objectives
  • Problem solve issues affecting the accomplishment of those objects
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
  • University or College Degree or currently attending (preferred)
  • Experience working within a sporting environment (preferred)
  • Standard First Aid and CPR (preferred)
  • Mandatory Police Check
  • Computer Literacy (i.e. Microsoft Office, registration database)
  • Work cooperatively with others to draw on their skills and viewpoints
  • Keep others fully informed through staff meetings and regular ongoing communications
  • Support and encourage others by providing positive feedback
  • Speak positively and act in accordance with the Core Values as a representative of Erin Mills Soccer Club
  • Knowledge and passion for the sport of soccer
  • Strong negotiation and objection handling skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have own vehicle for transportation and hold a valid Drivers License
Hours 20-40 hours per week
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekend when necessary
