Melrose Paving Co. Ltd. is located in the heart of Mississauga and we are looking for an Estimator to join our growing team. If you possess the skills and abilities to bid on new projects and you are experienced in excavation, grading, concrete and asphalt works, then we want to speak with you!As an Estimator, you will work within our team to achieve our business objectives with the following responsibilities:- Monitor the market to identify new tender opportunities- Attend site meetings for new tenders- Review tender documents and specifications- Perform quantity take offs- Obtain quotations from sub-trades- Utilize Bid 2 Win to calculate unit costs- Obtain bonding documents- Prepare preliminary construction schedules- Negotiate subcontractor agreements and terms- Provide project details on successfully bid projects to the operations teamAs we expand within our industry, we encourage the ambitions of our team members.
