Our people are critical to our success and by supporting their personal growth and development and providing them with the tools they need to succeed, PepsiCo Canada is a company you’ll be proud to join!Position Summary:The Customer Development Accounts (CDA) Analyst contributes to The PepsiCo Beverage Canada success by maintaining responsibility for all aspects of Foodservice and Retail Customer Development Accounts. The CDA Analyst oversees contract setup, rebate payments, GL reconciliations, FFP reporting and detailed analysis of our customer liabilities and payments.Key Responsibilities include:

  • Review and approve contract setup in FFP and in some cases compare to Prosper
  • Review and approve payments in our FFP (Forecasting and Funding) contracts and payments in a timely manner with focus in the specific assigned MU’s.
  • Responsible for reconciling several general ledger accounts on a periodic basis
  • Attend balance sheet review on a quarterly basis with reconciliations
  • Participate in period end, quarter end and year end processing / balancing activities – often requiring flexibility
  • Establish and maintain an up to date database reporting of all FFP food service and retail account contracts
  • Detailed analysis of contract payments and remaining contract liabilities on a period basis.
  • Provide concise reviews of our accruals and FIFO analysis and present finding to the Directors of Planning on a period basis
  • Work directly with FFP Administrators to address pending payments, close out expired contracts, roll over existing contracts or input new contracts.
  • Provide periodic updates on spending commitments to field planners/KAM/NAM’s
  • Give ongoing assistance to the field/KAM/NAM’s regarding policies, procedures and training
  • Ensure compliance with PBC CDA policies and controls.
  • Review all cheque requests against contractual/BAM commitments and confirm they meet GCS requirements
Qualifications
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Bachelors degree required, preferably in Accounting
  • 3 years of relevant business experience an asset
  • Strong organizational, detail oriented and decision making skills
  • Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, FFP, ERT, Oracle
  • Reconciliation skill required
  • Self-motivated, ability to act with integrity and in a professional manner
  • Ability to be flexible and work well under pressure
