The team is seeking a high energy Manager to help meet targets in this fast paced, highly competitive marketplace. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to work in a high profile, dynamic and challenging environment with opportunities to interact with Bell senior leaders and influence the strategic planning process for both Mobility and BRSB.AccountabilitiesFacilitate the month end close process by ensuring the accuracy of bad debt results within the financial systems, that all journal entries are posted, the month end scorecard is populated with segmented results including all appropriate key metrics, and prepare variance explanations to provide insight into Financial resultsPrepare financial presentation materials for executive reviews. Communicate key trends and observations; make recommendations and champion opportunities to improve performanceProvide various complex financial forecasts on the bad debt portfolios by understanding the impact of business drivers and collaborating closely with business partnersProvide in depth analysis on bad debt including impacts of economic trends, special projects, accounting policy changes, and different consumer products; identify relevant risks and opportunitiesEnsure strong accounting and process controls are in place. Identify control gaps and address them. Partner with the business to ensure financial controls are considered when building operating processesProvide input into regular month end estimate review meetingsProvide support and answers to adhoc questions and requestsManage audit requests in collaboration with controllersAccountable for financial results and control of bad debt and bank charges spendWork with the business solutions and finance 2025 teams to evolve the data quality, data access, and data segmentation availability for all reporting portfoliosRequired Qualifications/CompetenciesUndergraduate degree in finance/business/economics. MBA/CMA an assetUniversity degree with at minimum 5 years of experience in a financial planning environmentHighly advanced analytical skills with relentless attention to detailExcellent planning and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-paced / performance-driven environmentStrong communication skills along with the ability to convey financial analysis and metrics to managementAbility to partner with various cross functional groups and management levelsProven ability to be an effective team leader with strong interpersonal skillsTelecom experience a strong assetBilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.Additional Information:Position Type: ManagementJob Status: Regular - Full TimeJob Location: Canada : Ontario : MississaugaApplication Deadline: 06/11/2021Please apply directly online to be considered for this role.
