Flower Bench Sales Representative Mississauga, Ontario John G. Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, the Flower Bench Sales Representative is responsible for selling flowers, floral supplies and giftware to achieve Hofland’s customer retention and growth strategy as well as their individual and team targets.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide an amazing customer experience by answering incoming calls, questions or concerns (phone or in person) in a timely manner and selling Hofland’s complete range of fresh floral, floral essentials and giftware lines.
• Assist with the assembly of fresh floral orders for customers, ensuring the quality of product selected and notifying the Sales Representatives when the product is not available
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers while assisting new prospects
• Occasional work inside floral cooler – picking floral orders, assisting customers & sold section management
• Become a product expert to provide customers with solutions which are designed for their specific needs, matching their customer’s tastes and trends
• Liaise internally to monitor existing orders and inventory levels, and making accurate and rapid cost calculations to provide quotes
• Utilize all tools and programs to provide high level customer service, such as set asides, special order, and direct import
• Actively maintain your sold section ensuring all unneeded product is returned to quality control
• Assist and interact with other departments as required to ensure customer service levels are met
• Other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years’ experience in a sales environment
• In depth knowledge of all varieties of flowers and greens
• A passion for customer service along with a positive attitude
• Superior prioritizing, communication and people skills with the ability to execute tasks with knowledge and confidence
• Ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and customers
• Professional verbal and written communication skills with superior interpersonal skills
• Outstanding time management, organizational and administrative skills
• Collaborative and team oriented individual capable of working independently and as part of a team
• Must be flexible and adaptable
• Excellent computer skills including MS Office such as Word, Excel and Outlook
• Capable of learning a customized database and CRM programs
• Ability to work Tuesday to Saturday (Tuesday to Friday 7am to 3:30pm) & Saturday (7am to 12:30pm) OR,
