Job Description

Powerhouse Retail Services is a homegrown Canadian 3PL warehousing and fulfillment company located in the Heartland District of Mississauga. We are looking for an enthusiastic and positive individual to join our team in our warehouse division as a Forklift Driver.This is a Full -Time opportunity for an immediate start. Hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30am - 4:30pm with occasional weekends and overtime as required. Successful applicants must be able available for occasional overtime and weekends.Working Environment:

  • Warehouse environment
  • Concrete floor warehouse environment (non-production)
  • Lifting of boxes, lightweight 20-30 pounds
Daily Activities Include:
  • Operates forklift, Raymond Reach, and counterbalance machines daily
  • RF scanning, staging, and handling product throughout the warehouse
  • Perform maintenance of material handling equipment through pre-use inspections and making operator repairs which include changing batteries
  • Always comply with all company policies and procedures and Ontario Health and Safety Standards
  • Communicate and work together with supervisors and coworkers
  • Completes all other assigned warehouse duties as needed
Skills and experience: · Counter Balance Certificate· CSA approved safety shoes or boots· 1 - 3 years experience working as a materials handler operating a forklift accurately, RF scanning and safely in a warehouse environment· Physically able to perform the essential duties of the position, including lifting to 30 pounds regularly· Prior WHIMIS training considered an asset· Fall Arrest certification and/or Materials Handling Certificate an asset· Ability to pay attention to detail· Ability to work in a team environmentTo apply for this position please apply online with your resume online.We thank all applicants for their interest in Powerhouse however only qualified applicants will be contacted to interview.Job Type: Full-timeSchedule:
