What you’ll doIt’s safe to say, there’s no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key responsibilities of the role:

• Providing administrative label requirements support to satellite Buyers in the GBO (Global Buying Offices). This role is responsible for ensuring purchase orders have the required food labels and details as per Canadian regulations. This position is critical to ensuring the planned flow of goods from vendor to DC to stores occurs and is not delayed due to incomplete information resulting in label non-compliance to Canadian Regulation. This position requires proactive communication (mainly through email and occasionally phone calls) with multiple partners including vendors, global buyers, Product Safety & Regulatory Compliance Department, Distribution Centers and Third-Party vendors. This position supports the food business which is a high sku, high growth business for all Banners of TJX Canada

• Audits Corporate Import Requisitions (CIRs) to ensure all mandatory information is completed on the Purchase Orders to facilitate smooth receipt and flow out of DC for goods purchased.
• Executes timely processing of CIRs, including categorization and standardized Regulatory Warehouse Planner instructions to meet the 48 hr. time-frame as per the Global CIR Standards for TJX Corporation
• Assists the Product Safety & Regulatory department to ensure all items ordered from GBO vendors have been reviewed and approved for sales in Canada
• Partners with buyers/sourcers to gather appropriate food nutritional information for label creation and escalating issues to DMM and GMM when necessary

What you’ll needTo begin your career with us, you’ll have:

• Minimum College Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Retail or Business Management or equivalent Retail / Merchandise Operations experience an asset
• Excellent organizational skills including, time management; ability to implement and manage details, prioritize, multi-task and sometimes work under time pressure; ability to proactively plan for upcoming work load/activities; flexibility with the ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt to the changing needs of the business; ability to work independently requiring minimal supervision
• Excellent customer service skills when dealing with internal and external parties.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with effective facilitation skills
