Together as one team, we are Here to move.Position Description SummaryWarehouse Coordinator will be responsible for general CSR, warehouse coordination and invoicing functions for the Airway Drive sufferance warehouse. This involves freight flow management, documentation integrity and capturing program revenue. This position reports to the Operations Manager.Principal Accountabilities

  • Reviews customer delivery requirement for delivery of freight
  • Liaise with internal departments and clients
  • Verifies and coordinates transit of freight to final destination
  • Update FREDS Track and Trace and event statuses
  • Confirm customs release status and credit hold release
  • Dispatches freight to carriers and couriers
  • Updates shipment dimension log
  • Daily communication with transportation companies and couriers
  • Opens job files by entering data into the Unix system for CYS storage files
  • Data enter billable services and create and maintain billing tables
  • Create invoices for warehouse services, CYS services and direct customers
  • Manages billing discrepancy resolution
  • Update handling report template to capture all internal LCL charges
  • Processing of courier shipments and labeling
  • Maintain returns tracking logs
  • Maintain open and closed file records for customs compliancy purposes
  • Arrange for freight examinations as requested by the CBSA
  • Respond to CBSA tracers and inquiries
  • Receiving orders through fax, phone and EDI
  • Process customer orders for internal and external small warehouse account
  • Scheduling delivery appointments
  • Various customer related and administrative duties as needed
  • Prints and distributes documentation to relevant parties
Knowledge and Skills
  • 2 to 3 years experience in warehousing/logistics with excellent knowledge of overall warehousing process
  • Completion of high school or GED
  • General understanding of Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) requirements and sufferance warehouse documentation requirements.
  • Knowledge of freight forwarding and transportation
  • Excellent data entry skills. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
  • Trained on the handling of dangerous goods
  • Strong knowledge of the FREDS system, including billing modules
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Detail oriented and excellent time management with the ability to multitask
Job Type: Full-timeExperience:
  • warehouse: 2 years (preferred)
  • MHE: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
  • Forklift License (preferred)
