Binex is a Freight Forwarding, 3PL & VMI Service Provider, Customs Broker, Interstate Trucking Broker–One Stop Logistics Solution–established in 1995, now positioning in 20 strategic locations in USA, Canada, and Mexico, providing high quality and comprehensive worldwide logistics services enhanced through state of art tracking, visibility, and PO management system operated by highly motivated and experienced experts.We are currently seeking to fill the full-time Import Supervisor position at our Toronto branch located in Mississauga.Position Summary: The Import Supervisor will oversee the coordinating and managing the import of ocean/air shipments.Essential Functions: · Coordinates import of ocean/air shipments.· Ensures that all documentation is up to date and recorded in tracking systems.· Resolves issues and expedites solutions with clients, customs officials, and shippers. · Reports any ongoing issues to manager or head of a unit/department.· Distributes work to team members and arrange monthly meetings. · Sets goals for performance deadlines in ways that comply with company’s plans and vision.· Monitors employee productivity and provides constructive feedback and coaching. · Trains and supervises employees.· Actively participates in sales process to achieve growth expectations.Required Skills/Abilities: · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.· Excellent sales and customer service skills.· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.· Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.· Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Education and Experience: · High school diploma or equivalent.· 2+ years experience in freight forwarding/logistics industry is preferred.· Must be eligible to work in Canada.· Must be fluent in both Korean and English.Physical Requirements: · Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $48,000.00-$55,000.00 per yearBenefits:
