Job descriptionWho are weCode Ninjas is the nation’s fastest growing kids coding franchise. In our center, kids ages 5+ learn to code in a fun environment by playing and building video games they love. Parents are thrilled as their children gain confidence and new skills including coding, math, logic, and problem-solving, as they progress from white to black belt.Job descriptionWhat are we looking forWe are looking for a Instructor Coding and Robotics Code Sensei who is specialized in STEM, SCRATCH, Javascript, Roblox Studio, Unity, C#, microcontrollers, Minecraft modding and Roblox development to join our team of dynamic, energetic, forward thinking minds, working towards our common goal: providing a fun and safe learning environment for children. Our Sensei are the heart and soul of our Code Ninjas centres. This individual has a passion to work with kids and delivers day-to-day coaching and student engagement. This role combines a passion for technology with an interest in teaching.Do you have experience working with children Do you enjoy teaching and building problem solving skills in young engineering minds Then this role is for you.If you become our kids’ favourite Sensei/coach, you will have a tremendous opportunity for growth.Responsibilities include:

  • Passion for STEAM activities
  • Knowledge of SCRATCH, JS, Python, MicroBit , Adruino, Lego Robotics Minecraft Modding and and Roblox Studio
  • Become an expert on our coding curriculum, and be confident answering students’ questions
  • Create a positive and safe environment which promotes the learning and development of the students
  • Work with children to determine their skill sets and help them succeed in their own unique way
  • Provide feedback to parents on their child’s progress and interests
  • Follow centre policies related to safety and cleanliness
Qualifications:
  • You are registered in one of the post-secondary educational institute or already graduated.
  • you are experienced in working with STEM
  • Passionate about technology and Robotics
  • History of working with children ages 5 and up (mentoring, coaching, tutoring etc.)
  • Quick learner that thrives in a fast-paced work environment
  • You work best as a team player; collaborates
This is part time year around opportunity with our Regular batches as well as camps.Job Types: Part-timeSalary: $16.00-$18.00 per hourJob Type: Part-timePart-time hours: 20 per weekSalary: $16.00-$18.00 per hourBenefits:
