  • Work closely with the IT Operations Lead, to continuously implement proactive approaches to day to day operations across all areas of responsibilities including applications, servers, networks, endpoints and security
  • Monitor and probe applications, infrastructure and security alerts to ensure a sustainable and secure operational excellence
  • Provide a first level of technical support for staff including endpoints, network connectivity, email, telecommunication, security, printers, screens, etc.
  • Manage and administer identity and access management to all IT infrastructure and application environments (Microsoft, Linux, MongoDB)
  • Perform application updates, security patches and configuration changes on hosted applications, servers, network hardware, endpoints, services and management tools.
  • Identify user experience pain points and challenges and make recommendations process/system functionality improvements.
  • Provide after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well as occasional weeknight or weekend maintenance
  • Responsible for the overall healthy operation of technology across all offices.
  • Helps maintain and improve procedural documentation and operational processes
  • Assists in the planning and implementation stages of relevant IT Projects
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • University or college degree (or equivalent work experience) in Information Technology or related field
  • 3+ years of demonstrated hands-on experience in a related Information Technology support environment
  • Exceptional experience with IT Operations, ITIL, ITSM and Problem Management tools or procedures (Related JIRA, ServiceNow experience is a plus)
  • Technical and operational working knowledge with GCP, Server Hardware (Dell), Server OS (Linux, Microsoft), Active Directory (2019), Networks (firewalls, switches, routers, VPN, wireless), Endpoint OS (Windows 10), Databases (MySQL, MongoDB), VMWare, SaaS (O365, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Related Microsoft, Linux/Unix certifications are a plus
