Job Description

The IT Business Lead Analyst is a senior-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders like business, operations, technology, finance to gather requirements and design E2E solutions to meet organizational objectives
  • Define E2E Operational and Data Flows for banking products using BPM tools like IBM workflows, TIBCO business studio etc , perform cost analysis, identify redundant and expensive process, identify compliance and audit risks and provide holistic solutions to optimize process and mitigate risks
  • Lead requirement gathering workshops by engaging and mobilizing the stakeholders , planning and executing the agenda and documenting requirements
  • Document comprehensive user stories in close collaboration with Product Owners capturing both functional and non-functional specifications with detailed success criteria
  • Candidate should design innovative, high quality, sustainable solutions that are risk resilient and regulatory compliant
  • Candidate should define integration requirements and collaborate with integration teams to design and test interfaces
  • Candidate should work with testing stakeholders to create business scenarios to ensure the End to End solutions are tested and the evidences reviewed with stakeholders for sign off
  • Support transformation programs that involve migration of data from legacy to new applications and ability document details migration strategy documents
  • Candidate should work with platform vendors, SIs and ensure they are accountable to deliver as per Citi expectations and standards
  • Works independently on several concurrent complex initiatives and devises project definitions to solve complex business problems considering business processes and/or systems capability to achieve desired results
Skills and Qualifications:
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience, banking/financial industry experience preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of business analysis
  • Techno- functional BA with hands on development experience and a good working knowledge of integration technologies
  • In depth understanding of corporate banking products and the product life cycle , especially within core-banking , treasury, liquidities, payments and receivables
  • Exposure to AML rules, basic compliance and risk protocols required by a financial institution
  • Good understanding of accounting concepts and book keeping with the ability to define accounting events required to set up business products for the bank
  • Possess a clear understanding of how the business/operations uses the products in day-to-day activities and able to communicate this to the Business Partners and to Technology.
  • Exposure across all phases of the SDLC with multiple E2E implementation experience - Gather and define requirements, design solution , review and test solution and implementation support
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
Education
  • Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Masters degree preferred
