Seize the opportunity: take your next step with us and join our team.IT Project Manager (Full Time) - Mississauga, ONReporting to the IT Manager, the IT Project Manager is to provide Project Management disciplines to Linde Canada IT initiatives.Responsibilities:
  • The Project Manager is involved in the daily micromanagement of the project to ensure strict adherence to the detailed plan.
  • Monitors updates containing specific tasks of team members and addresses complicated issues that are escalated to Project Manager.
  • The Project Manager ensures that the systems and IT aspects of the project are functioning smoothly to ensure a glitch-free working environment for project staff.
  • Promptly addresses IT-related issues and swiftly calls upon required resources.
  • The Project Manager will ensure alignment with the mainstream project team(s). Coordination of Project Plan activities will be aligned with other Managers to ensure the solution, approach, timing and plan are aligned with all development efforts.
  • The Project Manager reports any interim project changes and risks immediately to the IT Manager / Steering Committee members.
  • The Project Manager addresses budget allocation issues and deliverables related to the project, prepares presentations and reports and status updates per communicate plan
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation
  • Will be responsible for some data analysis on requirements and/or defects in testing
  • Project communication to project team and stakeholders, including weekly status, issues, risks and dependencies
  • Experience in adopting Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies to projects, where applicable
Qualifications:
  • PMP certification or equivalent. Intermediate to Senior level of experience in previous implementations of ERP software, preferably J.D. Edwards
  • Proven ability to coordinate, articulate and resolve issues as relates to infrastructure, applications and process
  • A working knowledge of J.D. Edwards concepts and ability to engage in detailed J.D. Edwards discussions
  • Develop and maintain budgets relevant to projects, drive process improvement, planning, and performance management
Technical Skills:
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office including MS Project and Teams
  • Good working knowledge on using the SQL Developer for Oracle and Management Console for SQL Server
  • Ability to assess and evaluate new software
  • Keep abreast of the new technologies introduced within Linde
