Job Description

Position Summary:When we have technical questions, you are the first person we seek. In a constantly changing environment our IT Technicians are our most reliable partners in helping us to manage the intricacies of our high-tech business. Not only managing the technical issues in the office but also in the field. Without our trusted IT Technicians, we’d be coming apart at the seams.Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform the setup and testing of Cameras, Computers equipment and routers
  • Assemble computers
  • Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources, etc
  • Install, test and update computer equipment (computers, servers, peripherals, programs and software)
  • Input and maintain IP addresses
  • Install and configure Monitoring software StealthHUB &StealthEDGE
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software and network operating system
  • Troubleshoot all IT related issues to support field operations
  • Provide feedback and/or issues related to Installation
  • Set up computers following our standards and Checklist with no downtime in installation
  • Maintain organized, secure workplace, ensuring appropriate password/security/encryption measures taken
  • Create and Maintain Reference and Procedural Documentations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • MCSE or post-secondary diploma/degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
  • 2+ years of directly related experience as an Administrator in a medium sized network of servers, desktop systems and communications devices using current technologies
Core Competencies:
  • Computer hardware and software systems and programs
  • Computer networks, network administration and network installation
  • Computer troubleshooting
  • Computer viruses and security (Security focused on understanding risks of Malicious software)
  • E-mail and internet programs
  • Ability to install and administer computer hardware, software and networks
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Computer skills including the ability to operate computerized accounting, spreadsheet, word-processing, graphics and website development programs at a highly proficient level
  • IP Telephony or VoIP routing experience is an asset
  • Excellent English oral and written communication and interpersonal skills are a must
