We are a high-energy business focused team, providing the highest possible customer experience, with best-in-class engineering support.We are looking for an experienced Logistics Administrator to strategically lead the domestic and international logistics operations for Charter and its clients. This position will provide value-added support to the sales, project management, and order administration teams, ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of orders to our customers.As the successful candidate, you will be an experienced and highly efficient professional in logistics, with a proven track record of achieving results in a fast-paced environment. You are detail orientated and get energized by multitasking under tight deadlines. You will have a collaborative approach and customer-service mindset enabling you to build strong relationships with vendors, carriers and internal stakeholders.This full-time position will be based out of our Mississauga office.*Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: *

  • Responsible for third-party logistics (shipping, receiving, and tracking) of IT resources, coordinating and assigning courier vendors based on customer demands and service requirements worldwide.
  • Manage Warehouse located in Mississauga, ON including Receiving, Shipping,
  • Maintain and facilitate relationships with suppliers, customs brokers and couriers/freight providers; ensure shipments clear customs and escalate issues effectively to ensure timely delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations; including recent changes in 2020 Incoterms, CERS, CARM
  • Obtain Export Permits for International shipments, using EXCOl system
  • Communicate order receipt/shipment/delays, and license and contract fulfillment with customers and staff; respond promptly to customer/staff inquiries.
  • Confirm order status details regularly in the order administration system (SharePoint/Excel, etc.).
  • Review shipping quotes and invoices for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Work closely with multiple departments and customers to identify and report trends, resolve issues/escalations, implement best practices, reduce costs, and drive project deliverables.
  • Create documents, communicate and maintain standard operating procedures while driving quality and adherence across the organization.
  • Some General administrative duties.
  • Communicate and suggest areas of improvement within the process.
  • Other projects or duties assigned.
Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related discipline (business, logistics, procurement), or an equivalent combination of directly-related work experience and education.
  • At least 2 years experience with logistics administration in an office setting.
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel and Word; SharePoint is a bonus); able to quickly learn programs and adapt as needed.
  • Experience with an order administration system is an asset.
  • Experience with international logistics; knowledge of CUSMA and other US and Canadian customs regulations, export permits.
