DescriptionThe RolePicture several thousand packages. Each is heading to one of over 150 countries, by way of numerous different courier services, all of which pick up their shipments at different times. For some, managing this scenario sounds like a nightmare. For you, it sounds like Tuesday. Our Logistics Team springs to action. In the amount of time that most people spend cooking dinner, dozens of able hands have plowed through hundreds of parcels.Of course, a shipping operation of this scope requires more than able hands. Theres documentation to process, manifests to close, and order issues to resolve. Thats where you come in. In much the same way that one would be foolish to climb Mount Everest without a guide, the Logistics Team relies on your support to conquer the mountain of parcels that pass through our doors, every single day.Whether youre brushing up on import / export regulations for the Logistics Manager, working with our Customer Experience team to ensure problem orders are getting delivered, or documenting API failures with Software Engineering, youre the connective tissue between the Logistics Team and the rest of the organization - taking point on high-level logistics work for everyones benefit... not least of all, our customers.When the Logistics team descends the mountain, another day of packages has been prepped for shipment to dbrands adoring legion of fans. The Responsibilities & QualificationsIn order to make a positive impact as part of our team, your focus in this role will be to:
  • Collect, sort, and process orders and create shipping documentation using courier platforms.
  • Ensure accurate closure of manifests and their authenticity. Report and resolve issues with the Software Engineering team.
  • Keep track of and resolve all order issues (e.g. ACRs, NRAs, and others), and inform the Customer Experience team accordingly.
  • Report API failures and other issues for quick resolution.
  • Ensure incoming products are received and distributed appropriately.
  • Support loading / unloading and receiving material, as required.
  • Work under the guidance of the Logistics Manager to ensure smooth flow of daily departmental activities and workflow.
  • Oversee and establish priorities to ensure that demands of the team and customers are consistently met.
  • Have working knowledge of Import / export regulations and maintain ability to assist with core logistics.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the Logistics Manager.
