Attention all Maintenance Technicians! I have partnered with a bakery manufacturing client in the Mississauga East region looking to add two Maintenance Technicians to their team!They are a global food company and well renowned within the food manufacturing industry. They manufacture bakery products internationally across Europe, Asia, and North America!If you have experience working in the food manufacturing or packaging industry as a Maintenance Technician or Maintenance Mechanic and have at least 3+ years experience, this is the job for you!Straight Afternoon and Night shift available!Advantages$27-35/hr (depending on experience)Afternoon & Night Shift availableOT availableExtended Health and Dental benefits provided (up to 100% coverage)Long term disability coverageRRSP matching2 weeks paid vacation to startComprehensive training program providedCareer advancement opportunitiesResponsibilitiesConduct preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on system and equipment breakdownsTroubleshoot process and production issuesCompletion of documentation related to preventative maintenance, repairs, safety, inventory and proceduresPerform maintenance and repair of production line equipment (conveyors, & packaging machinery)Utilize welding, fabrication, pneumatics and hydraulic skills for equipment repairFollow all Health & Safety policies at all times including - Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food SafetyQualifications3+ years experience in a food/packaging environment preferredMechanical Diploma/CertificateMechanically inclined with Electrical knowledge considered an assetExperience troubleshooting and repairing production/packaging equipmentFamiliar with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)Ability to work in a hot/cold environmentSummaryApply today and send me your resume!
