We value and share an infinite range of ideas and voices that evolve and broaden our perspectives with a reach that extends into all our brands, partners, and suppliers.Job DescriptionThe Opportunity:The Manager of the enterprise applications support team is responsible for managing and coordinating with teams comprising of team members/team leads in an onsite/offshore model. This role deals with hands on knowledge and direct supervision on application support and operations for middleware (TIBCO) and digital platforms/eCommerce applications, which includes Adobe Experience Manager, IBM WCS (WebSphere commerce). The role will focus on expediently resolving application and system issues and incidents according to predefined service-level agreements (SLAs). Responsibilities include coordinating activities with software engineers for monitoring, managing capacity, responding to incident/problem tickets, conducting root-cause analysis, and implementing strategic fixes as well as using automation and other tools to proactively maintain a high-reliability environment and minimize recovery time for critical production incidents. Experience in migrating applications to cloud and supporting hybrid environments is an extremely needed skill. The ability to proactively monitor our environment and identify issues before they become incidents will be a primary focus and will drive both internal and external customer satisfaction. The candidate must have hands on experience working with outsource partners like (CTS, Infosys, Wipro, Tata, etc.).What Your Impact Will Be:Production SupportProvides leadership on resolution of high priority incident tickets during business-critical time windows. Ensure all changes resulting on P1/P2 incident are reported, tracked and RCA document and reviewedEnsures frequent testing is part of the “path to production” to ensure new development objects don’t interrupt the overall health of the applicationManages the process adherence and teams to diagnoses and selects the most efficient, effective, and risk adverse method to restore services. Ensures teams have performed the appropriate validation of the restored service.Perform periodic reviews and ensure all CM process documents such as SOP, runbook, user-guide and training materials are up to date. Attend CAB meetings and assist with review and approval of change requests.Manage the governance of the life cycle of changes and make sure only authorized changes are implemented on production environments.Partner and Relationship ManagementResponsible for working with onshore and offshore technical leads/supervisors, optimizing the onshore/offshore resource model.Participates in discussions between IT and the appropriate function (business/application development) unit regarding current and anticipated service requirements and alternative approaches.ProjectsOversee small projects/initiatives as assigned, including timeline, scope, resources, risk, quality and customer expectations.AdministrationCommunicates plans, status and issues on a regular basis to executive management.Plans and evaluates the work of technical and other support staff.Audits and approves staff work reflected on invoices and timecards.QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For:BS degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience;5+ years of hands-on experience in providing application production support for B2C/B2B eCommerce website;3+ years of experience as a Lead/Senior production support engineer/Site Reliability Engineer for ecommerce website;Recent 3+ years of hands-on experience in supporting Java platforms, Google App Engine, and GCP based applications;Recent 3+ years of hands-on experience in APIs validation and working knowledge of middleware platforms, GCP app engine with Node.JS preferred;5+ years of hands-on experience working with relational databases, including an understanding of relational table designs and running SQL, diagnosing production issues and debug code;5+ years of experience with ITIL framework including incident management, problem management, and change management;Recent 5+ years of hands-on experience with monitoring tools and log aggregation tools with developing application dashboards utilizing the AppDynamics monitoring tool, Quantum Analytics etc;Advanced scripting skills (JavaScript, Python, NodeJS, Angular, PowerShell, Bash, Beanshell,);Collaboration tool administration skills a plus. (Exchange, SharePoint, Confluence, TEAMS, Slack, Agile Central, etc.);Prior software development or support engineering experience on Shopify, Contentful, Constack;Experience in supporting Akamai CDN and Imperva WAF;Experience with Atlassian suite including Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jira, and Confluence;Good exposure and working knowledge of service monitoring tools such as: SolarWinds Orion, App Dynamics, Quantum Metrics, Graffana;Experience with budgeting for Operations products, services, and support;Experience managing co-location relationships with heavy emphasis on Outsourcing relationships;Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports for Executive Management;Ability to provide technical guidance and leadership to professional personnel in area of expertise;Experience working in agile/scrum environments.Additional InformationWhat It’s Like to Work Here:We are a purpose driven company aiming to empower the next generation to explore the wonder of childhood and reach their full potential.
