Job Description

OverviewThe Marketing Associate - Events assists the Head of Sales & Marketing in the planning and execution of all promotional events.Snapshot of ResponsibilitiesResponsible for global tradeshow planning and execution including:

  • Execution of product promotion strategy
  • Communications and alignment of internal team
  • Cost-optimization initiatives
  • Completing assignments on time and on budget
  • Assigning leads to Sales team
  • Organizing and maintaining warehouse inventory of trade show equipment - some light-to-medium activity is required
  • Conducts market research in support of launch planning
  • Maintains communication with all internal departments
  • Maintains timely expense reports
  • Sorts customer database to create distribution lists for direct marketing
  • Provides administrative support for the Sales & Marketing department
  • Comply with the Health & Safety policies of the company and inform management of unsafe working conditions
  • Undertake special projects as required
What you bring to the team:
  • Degree level qualification in a relevant field or acceptable combination of education and experience (minimum 3 years’ experience in event planning and execution
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines, while maintaining high attention to detail
  • Confident, proactive, ambitious and creative personality with a desire to constantly develop and suggest improvements
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • High energy, self-motivated, positive attitude and results oriented
  • Ability to communicate professionally with high profile physicians and executives
  • Ability to work independently with little direct supervision
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
