For more information, please visit www.thermofisher.com.What will you doResponsible for the material handling of inventory and other materials to support Packaging, Processing and shipping master production schedules, and maintains an orderly and Good Manufacturing Practices compliant warehouse.Responsibilities:Prints pick lists for Processing/Packaging and stages required materials accordingly.Material handling, storage, and re-location of returns, quarantine, released and rejected material updates SAP.Assists in the preparation and assembly of the finished products and other materials for shipments.Mans Packaging/Processing airlocks.Moves materials from the receiving area to the appropriate storage areas of the warehouse.Prepares and assembles waste and MDRs for pick up.Sorts and delivers non-inventory courier shipments and supplies to other departments within Patheon.Offloads receipts, loads waste, and client shipmentsBackup support for Shipper and Receiver (quarantines sticker incoming receipts, wipes down drums)In this role, it is essential to perform shift work.Other duties as requiredHow will you get thereRequirements:High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 2 years of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environmentForklift certification would be an assetAbility to multi-task, meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong accuracy and attention to detailMust be able to work with limited supervision.Ability to lift up to 50lbs and manoeuvre up to 80lbs.Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.Proficiency with the English language.At Thermo Fisher Scientific, each one of our 75,000 extraordinary minds has a unique story to tell.
